William E. Buckley, President & Chief
Executive Officer
Bill Buckley is President and Chief Executive Officer of G. J. Sullivan, Excess & Surplus
Lines Brokers.
Bill began his career in the insurance field in 1989,
as an underwriter for Travelers, in their commercial
accounts division in Quincy, MA. He continued on
to work for General Reinsurance in Columbus, OH and
subsequently held positions with Swiss Re in both
Phoenix and Dallas.
Bringing with him a broad base of insurance
knowledge from his years within the primary and
reinsurance markets, Bill joined G.J. Sullivan Group
in January of 2003 as Executive Vice President. In January
of 2004 Bill was promoted to his current position as
President and Chief Executive Officer.

Paul Bubnis, Vice President
Paul
is the Vice President at G. J. Sullivan Co. and the
Managing General Underwriter for the Travelers Healthcare
Protection Plus+ ProgramSM. As Program
Manager, Paul's responsibilities include the specialized
underwriting oversight of Directors and Officers
Liability, and Wrongful Employment Practices Liability
for over 1,000 hospitals and healthcare related organizations
presently in the Travelers program.
Early in 1984, Paul began his insurance career as
an underwriter at National Union Fire Insurance Company
of Pittsburgh, PA. There, Paul received his broad
experience underwriting all industry segments of
Directors and Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability,
and Miscellaneous Professional Liability products into
the hard market of 1986. In 1987, Paul was promoted
and opened a branch office in Washington, DC, which
would handle the Mid-Atlantic area for National Union.
During his tenure in DC, Paul responsibilities included
the management and oversight of all financial services
products for fortune 500 companies through non-profit
organizations.
In early 1993, Paul accepted a position at RLI, in
California, whereby he had national underwriting
responsibilities for D&O with a specialization in
the more difficult technology and healthcare industry
sectors.

Deborah Mesko, Vice President
Deborah Mesko has built a strong reputation in the industry for marketing and underwriting specialty programs. Deborah began her career in 1983 working with Anderson & Murison, Inc., in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in Commercial Auto and Garage lines of insurance.
Deborah joined G. J. Sullivan Co. in 1995 in the Program Division, and soon her responsibilities included division-wide management and marketing. Deborah oversees all aspects of the Program Division, and under her watch it has consistently generated solid and profitable books of business. In 1999 she was promoted to Vice President.

Diane Moen,

Diane joined the G. J. Sullivan, Excess & Surplus
Lines Brokers in 1996 as Vice President and Controller.
Diane's extensive knowledge in all facets of accounting
management and administration comes from her 30 years
of insurance industry experience.
Diane came to G. J. Sullivan after 14 years with
Jardine, Emmet & Chandler as Vice President and
Office Manager.

Cindy Hernandez,
Assistant Vice President, Office & Operations Manager
Cindy joined the G. J. Sullivan Company in 1977. In Cindy's tenure with the company her roles and responsibilities have been diverse.
Cindy's experience with the company includes working in the Corporate Office for 20 years as the Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Mr. Gerald J. Sullivan.
In 1997 Cindy moved to the Orange County Office as
Office Manager and liaison to the President's Office.
